Bill Junge:
I was a member of this club from approximately 1957-59. The
club was started by Jim Rocha, who worked at a muffler shop on PCH in Hermosa. The club
purchased an Altered Willys Coupe and installed a flathead engine. We raced it at Lion's Dragstrip
in Wilmington, CA. Although it never was very competitive, it was a blast to
drive with the setback engine and center steering set up.
This is my jacket that I purchased in 1957.

This club is still around although it's now a low-rider club
and some of their members are third generation Magoos.
